This heavy-duty barrier gate is ideal for cycle routes, pedestrian walkways and other access routes where cars are prohibited. The 2 gates are made from durable box section steel that has been hot dip galvanised then painted red and white.
This heavy duty access barrier is supplied as a pair of swing gates that form a road block for cars. Each gate can be offset from the other by either 500mm, with overlap for pedestrian traffic. Alternatively on cycle routes a 1500mm offset with no overlap is recommended.
The locking system is simplistic with a through pin that any off the shelf padlock can be attached to. These gates can be locked open or closed, allowing them to opened for events and maintenance whenever needed.
