Cast In 1200mm RSJ Armco Barrier Post Galvanised Steel
This RSJ cast in 1200mm Armco post is part of our wide range of high-quality Armco crash barrier components. The cast-in variant is very simple in construction when compared to the bolt down version of this same product. As this product is “cast in” it requires an excavation to be made which can then be backfilled with an appropriate aggregate to secure the post in position.
The 1200mm measurement of this post refers to its total length, once installed a portion of this will be underground, this usually leaves a section of the post between 560mm and 610mm above ground. As this post is “dig in” you cannot install it onto already concreted surfaces, for this application a “bolt down” option should be used.
This P224 post like all of our Armco products is made from high-quality galvanised steel that is highly resistant to corrosion. The post comes pre-drilled ready to accept a single Armco rail. The P224 I-beam design of post is ideal for locations where space is tight as it is very rigid, requiring less space behind it in the event of an impact.
