The Rota Block Large fence support ballast is a heavy-duty hoarding support system that will ensure hoarding and mesh fence panels stay even in high winds. Each block weighs in at a hefty 333kg when filled with water, yet a single worker can easily position it without lifting equipment when empty.

These ballast units have been wind tested, with two ballast units and one hoarding panel able to withstand wind speeds up to 62.4mph, at which point the fence was still standing. Should you require further ballast, units can be stacked in pairs, bringing the total ballast weight per panel over the 1000kg mark.

Emptying these ballast support blocks is as simple as removing the bung at the base of the block and letting it drain. The drain hole is positioned on the “secure” side of the ballast, ensuring it cannot be tampered with by an unauthorised person. To use these ballast blocks, we recommend using the fence arm accessory to brace the fence with the blocks further.
