Melba Road Runner 500 Self Weighted Barrier System
The Road Runner 500 from Melba Swintex takes all of the features of a water-filled barrier and does away with some of the issues water-filled barriers often see. The self-weighted nature of the Road Runner 500 means that you do not need to source water to weigh the barrier down or dispose of water at the end of a job.
Transportation and storage costs are also reduced to a minimum as these barriers stack densely, with 48 units per pallet space. This is almost double what the nearest competing water-filled barrier can offer. By removing the necessity for repeat journeys, you can make massive savings in fuel, vehicle wear, and driver hours.
When deployed, this barrier interlocks with the adjacent barrier, further enhancing the robustness of the barrier system. Setting out is easy, as each barrier is only 12.5kg in weight, which means moving them by hand is entirely possible. Forklift slots have been added to the base, should you want to move them with machinery.
