This institutional mirror is made specifically for high-risk areas such as cells and corridors within prisons. Several features of this mirror make it very hard to tamper with or vandalise. This safety mirrors primary application is for use within prison cells allowing staff to see the entire cell and its contents from the doorway.
When installed in a corridor this mirror can be used to improve staff safety by providing vision around blind corners, preventing surprise attacks and both intentional or accidental collisions.
The mirror is made from stainless steel, which is exceptionally hard to damage. The fittings supplied with the mirror (7 clutch head screws) and stainless frame are near impossible to undo without the right bit. The mirror fits tightly against the wall and ceiling, ensuring that contraband cannot be hidden behind or on top of the mirror.
Every component of this mirror has been carefully designed to ensure that it is anti-ligature and that manufacturing weaponry from any part is near impossible.
